View Photos
The Mesa Leadership
Program Team welcomed the majority of its Class 2010
members to a fun, interactive social at the Old
Chicago Pasta & Pizza Restaurant a week before its
scheduled August 8th Orientation Class.
This first-time Mesa Leadership ice breaker allowed
everyone to get to know each other in a social
environment and initiated the group’s communication
skills.
Thanks to Southwest
Ambulance providing excellent accommodations at its
708 W. Baseline building for the August 8 class, all
participants excelled in its professional,
comfortable environment. After breakfast, Chamber
President/CEO Charlie Deaton (Mesa LTD Class 1994)
and the Mesa Leadership Team provided an assortment
of valuable information to the class.
Mesa Leadership
Curriculum Co-Chairs Dee Kepp (Class 2008) and
Ruthann Tryon (Class 2009) presented a jam-packed
agenda that included plenty of up-front program
information, Mesa historical presentations, and an
afternoon leadership communication workshop.
The class enjoyed a
wonderful dinner at the Landmark Restaurant and
Councilmembers Dina Higgins (Class 2005) and Dave
Richens (Class 2004) plus their spouses met and
talked to most of the attendees.
Class 2010
membership is very diverse and includes educators,
many different types of business/non-profit
representatives, business owners and community
volunteers.
