Tour Procedure
- Identify the tours you would like to attend.
- E-mail Laura hyneman at
laura.hyneman@mesaaz.gov.
- In the subject
line, please include the tour name (i.e., Tent City,
MARC Center, SRP Helicopter) or "Tours" if
you are signing up for several tours at the
same time. Indicate in
the e-mail if you are interested in being a
tour leader.
- Tour leader is the person who:
- Makes the contact at the tour site and lets them know the class members have arrived.
- Fills out a tour sheet that lists tour, date, contact and collects a sign-in sheet for those attending.
- Tour leader receives 5 extra
points per tour that they lead.
- Arrive to your tour ten minutes
prior and check in with your tour
leader.
- Please avoid the possibility of
being marked absent for the tour by
making sure you sign in with the
tour leader! This is your
responsibility.
- Please dress appropriately to
the venue you are visiting and wear
shoes that are comfortable to walk
in.
- For purposes of security, please
wear your MLTD name badge while
attending all tours.
- Enjoy your tour!
NOTE: Though you are welcome to
attend all tours, you are not
required to; only enough to obtain
the total amount of points needed
for graduation.
If you are not able to attend a
tour, it is mandatory that
you notify Liz Henry 24 hours prior
by e-mail at
laura.hyneman@mesaaz.gov. Missing a tour without notifying
Laura 24 hours in advance will
result in a deduction of 5 points
per tour when it happens. As
mentioned in the class, we want to
maintain the professional reputation
of Mesa Leadership so that these tour
opportunities continue to be
available for you and future classes
to enjoy.
